HARVESTING BAG:
a collaboration with Charlott Fletcher
18oz Scottish made waxed canvas / Devon oak bark tanned bridle leather /
Hand hammered solid copper rivets / Solid brass DOT fasteners
Charlott Fletcher (formerly Charlott's Garden) designs and makes simple, practical clothing for the makers and creators out there. She also collaborates with other makers and craftspeople, and approached us with an idea for an allotment / harvesting bag that she could take to her allotment, load up with a fresh bounty of vegetables, fruit and flowers, and carry home (in some style!).
Our collaboration harvesting bag can be laid out flat for filling up with fruit and vegetables, then poppered up at both ends to form a bag to sling over your shoulder and take home. The bag works just as well hung off your shoulder and tucked under your arm and used for harvesting elderflowers, runner beans, apples and more (we have also heard that it makes a great picnic bag and parcel posting bag!). The bag is made in our soft tobacco brown heavy duty waxed canvas, paired with a rich brown oak bark tanned leather, and all held together with super strong bonded nylon thread, and hand hammered copper rivets.
